In Orlando, the unforgettable season starts a little early.
A few weeks ago, at the Taste of Terror event, HHN enthusiasts got a preview of the treats that will be served during the iconic Halloween event. It will take place on September 1 and run through November 4.
That means the time has come to indulge in devilish fun on Halloween Horror Nights. But a good portion of us like to enjoy treats in addition to all the tricks and treats.
Here are some Halloween horror nights food options we’ve tried at this year’s Taste of Horror.
If you’re brave enough, read on.
Best Halloween Horror Nights Food 2023
Halloween Horror Nights 2023 looks like one of the tastiest years yet!
Based on my preferences, here are a few of my favorite Halloween Horror Nights food. If you need help choosing, try some of my recommendations below!
Bloody Snowball (Yeti – Gramercy Park)
We love sweets around here, and this year’s desserts are some of our favorites in recent HHN history.
Inspired by the scary things in YETI: Campground Kills, Bloody Snowball is a tasty chocolate cake with marshmallow frosting and coconut flakes on top.
Cheddar Jalapeño Hellfire Club (Stellar Bar – Production Central)
Start your cooking adventure with this one-of-a-kind handheld treat made from the fires of taste!
It’s made of Jalapeño cheddar bread, shaved pork shoulder, crispy potato sticks, hot mayo, pineapple chutney, and Muenster cheese. It’s a huge hit with food critics!
This Halloween Horror Nights food is great for kids.
Yuri’s Favorite (Surfer Boy Pizza – Gramercy Park)
This rich dish tastes like a classic peanut butter pie. It’s made with chocolate cake, peanut butter mousse, and Reese’s Pieces, and it’s kept in a Stranger Things-themed sealed container so you can grab it as a quick snack as you go from house to house.
Left Behind Ravioli (Ration Station – New York)
The Federal Emergency Response Agency has set up its distribution center in the middle of New York, not far from where The Last of Us’s maze is full of chaos. You can find this little dish of cheese ravioli in the ration book. Along with garlic bread, truffle cream, marinara sauce, and tempura-fried enoki mushrooms, it comes in a can that says “FEDERA.”
Best Halloween Horror Nights Food 2023 –Left Behind Ravioli
This FEDRA Ration Bar, a Scotcheroo Bar with peanut butter, coffee-flavored chocolate, and rice crispies, is the perfect snack for running away from monsters that eat people and other scary things at night at HHN.

Also, don’t get the time wrong!
Universal Orlando Resort Halloween Horror Nights Friday, September 1–Saturday, November 4, 2023
Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights Thursday, September 7–Tuesday, October 31, 2023
Usually, no outside food is allowed inside. But the above list of Halloween Horror Nights Food will satisfy your appetite!
What must I be aware of if I use HHN Early Entry?
If you use Halloween Horror Nights Early Admission (Stay & Scream), you must wait inside Universal Studios Florida while the park changes from a daytime event to a nighttime event.
Even though you still have to follow the tour plan, there is one more thing you need to know.
Because you’ll be going to a few spooky houses early (the ones you go to may change from night to night), you should go to those first. Cross off the haunts you’ve already seen from the list above when early admission ends.
And the park is open to everyone (between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m.). Then, go through the list from top to bottom as normal.
What if I can’t get in early for Halloween Horror Nights like you suggested?
Buy a Halloween Horror Nights Fast Pass if you can’t get in early.
Please be at the Park Crossing turnstiles by 5 p.m. if this is also not possible.
If you still can’t make it, go to Horror Nights on Thursdays or Sundays during the first three weeks or Wednesdays during the second half of the season. But even then, be ready to stand around a lot.
What do I do if I have an HHN Express Pass?
We should clarify that you still want to follow the steps above if you have an Express, which can only be used once per graveyard.
When you use an Express Pass, remember that it can only cut wait times in half.
If the Weekend: After Hours Nightmare Maze lasts two hours, people with an Express Pass might have to wait up to an hour. So, even if you have a Fast Pass, we still want you to stick to our tour plan so you don’t have to wait too long.
Also, it’s best not to use the Express Pass when the line is short at that infested place; you can go back later when the line is longer and then use it.
You should do that if you want to go back to the maze. Those who post wait times for Night of Terror House are being too hopeful. The 25-minute time listed is more likely to be 30 or 35 minutes.
Conclusion
Whether you’re looking to enjoy HHN-style cocktails with scary monsters or want to sample all of the specialty foods made for each park to celebrate haunted houses and scary characters, there are plenty of options here.
We hope this list has been helpful in your Halloween Horror Nights food planning.
